Any data stored is kept in password-protected folders accessible only by us. We undertake not to share your personal data with any 3rd parties at any point.

If at any time you wish to see the personal data held by us, you are welcome to email us for a full brief which will be supplied to you by return.

Our newsletter is an opt-in list that users can unsubscribe from at any point freely and without hindrance. We promise not to pepper your inbox with spam, offers or other rubbish that isn’t at all relevant to the reason you may have signed-up to the newsletter in the first place. If you do find what we occasionally send isn’t for you then please do just unsubscribe – we won’t be offended!

Silk Road Adventures Ltd needs to gather and use certain information about individuals.

These can include customers, suppliers, business contacts, employees and other people the organisation has a relationship with or may need to contact.

Silk Road Adventures Ltd

• Complies with data protection law and follows good practice

• Protects the rights of staff, customers and partners

• Is open about how it stores and processes individuals’ data

• Protects itself from the risks of a data breach

The Data Protection Act 1998 describes how organisations — including Silk Road Adventures Ltd — must collect, handle and store personal information.

These rules apply regardless of whether data is stored electronically, on paper or on other materials.

To comply with the law, personal information must be collected and used fairly, stored safely and not disclosed unlawfully.

Silk Road Adventures Ltd undertakes to ensure that all eight principles are core to its business practice, and to prevent by all necessary efforts the unlawful use of personal data.

Data stored for the use of any adventure holiday or event are handled in accordance with these principles.

We also follow the legislation on GDPR,  an EU law that came into force on 25/05/2018 and covers data protection for anyone communicating with EU citizens.
